The Set Theory

Today we are going to discuss about sets.
Do you know what a set is?
In our daily life we often sort out various things or objects in to groups or collections:

· Team of players
· A bunch of keys

Similarly in mathematics we have:
· A collection of natural numbers
· A collection of geometrical figures

Ok, all of us are interested in cricket, right? there are 11 players in a cricket match.
That is a collection of people, in mathematical language we say they are well defined collection of objects, such a well defined collection of objects is called a set.
